Completed during our time at THEVERYMANY in New York, this pop-up shop was designed in collaboration with Yayoi Kusama for a capsule collection with Louis Vuitton and installed at Selfridges department store in London, England.
Designed to emulate Kusama’s iconic pumpkin & dot motif, the overall assembly consisted of 6 volumes of various sizes. Made out of laser-cut carbon fiber, with thousands of holes in a precisely controlled gradient of sizes across each piece of the form, while maintaining the structural stability. The final assembly was the largest self-supported carbon fiber structure built at the time.
